Visual identity design for the exhibition “Alberto Giacometti: A Life of Creation”, which jointly organised by the Minsheng Art Museum Shanghai and the Fondation Giacometti. This major exhibition offers a broad panorama of Alberto Giacometti’s life and artistic career, bringing together more than 200 iconic works from the Fondation Giacometti’s collection.
We created two “type sculptures”—one elongated, one condensed. The pair echoes Giacometti’s own play with scale: pushed to extremes of length and density, they set up a dialogue between expansion and compression. Text here is no longer information—it becomes sculpture, occupying space and entering into conversation with the artist’s own language of form.
